Job Description

As a Data Science Manager, you will develop AI, Data Science and Machine Learning solutions aligned to our customer plan, enabling us to bring data to life and to deliver measurable ROI through the commercial application of data science to customer and business problems. The role will rapidly increase our data and data science capability is a critical area of transformation and your knowledge and experience will be critical in shaping the future. As a Data Science Manager, you will hire, retain and coach team members, ensuring they are thriving in their role within the team.

Responsibilities:

  • The role of Data Science Manager involves leading an established team of technical, highly
  • skilled data scientists, owning and developing your team workplan. Specifically, you will;
  • Develop and manage a data science team with different backgrounds, leading multi-disciplinary squads to complete data science projects to a high standard in a fast paced, high frequency retail environment.
  • You will be involved in developing new models, segmentation, data services across the end-to-end project lifecycle.
  • The role liaises with and manage stakeholders to understand and define requirements, and manage delivery against agreed timelines.
  • The Data Science Manager works as part of the Decision Science & Analytics – AI
  • Build Management Team and has a passion for innovative data and machine learning applications to drive profitable outcomes for our customers and business.
