Position Title: Media Planner

Job Description

To support with the development and implementation of communications planning for Asda, George and Asda Media partnerships using our media budget effectively across all communications channels to drive footfall, traffic, growth and sales. To support in the delivery accurate financial forecasting and support in management of the total media investment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day communications planning for Asda, George and Asda Media Partnership.
  • Play a key role in building trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Build collaborative relationships with the operations team and play an integral role in channel mapping, squad and process meetings
  • Working cross functionally and with agency partners to build customer journeys and ecosystems for campaigns
  • Create measurable campaign KPI’s, helping to enhance media effectiveness
  • Work closely with media/creative agency partners to ensure communications plan land effectively and in a timely manner
  • Responsible for reviewing and checking relevant communications plan ensuring 100% accuracy
  • Collaborate closely with Creative and Proposition leads to ensure communications plans are reflective of the campaign strategies
  • Support in the delivery and deployment of innovative and targeted media communications planning
  • Deliver integrated comms plans across paid and support owned and earned channels when required

Requirements:

  • Experience working client side or within an agency ideal for a minimum of 2 years
  • Digital certifications preferable (AdWords certified for example)
  • Media experience/digital expertise (above the line and digital)
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise activities
  • Numerical and analytics skills
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
