Job Description

The Business Controller is also in charge of managing the P&L integrity and reporting at all levels across the business (towards the group, central team and local managers) and plays a key part in the forecasting processes.
Reporting to the UK Managing Director (operationally) and to the European Finance Manager (functionally), the Business Controller is responsible for the P&L monitoring for the UK subsidiary.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Measure and analyse gaps between YTD results and budget / Prepare YTGo analysis ->
  • Rolling forecast & Landing.
  • Monitor the analytical allocation of all expenses with a particular focus on cost centres and internal orders.
  • Monitor all expenses & commitment: prepare and justify accruals, follow up the ordering, invoicing, and approval process.
  • Guarantee the integrity of the gross to net sales for the whole region from a budget and financial perspective (margin & back margin, discounts…)
  • Produce a consolidated regional P&L and analysis by customers.
  • Monitor and follow up with the credit control team, and customer litigations.

 

Requirements:

  • Support the UK subsidiary set up by taking an active part in IT and financial projects: tests, reconciliations, procedures.
  • Prepare all investments requests and follow up the approval and accounting process.
  • Support with the implementation of internal control rules & processes.
  • Prepare the staffing reinvoicing for external companies.
  • Set up tools and processes to support all accounting and finance topics.
  • Key user for My Easy Order (Purchase Order tool) and Traveldoo (expenses).
