Job Description

The Asda Finance team is c. 250 colleagues covering financial operations (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable. Record to report etc), commercial business partnering, financial planning and analysis, controllership, tax, treasury & pensions, internal audit and investor relations.
The Future programme will drive change across the whole of the Asda organisation. The Finance function is going to experience big change but will also be integral to supporting the wider business with their transformation activities. We are looking to supplement the current Finance functional project team with Business Process Leads to work with Finance colleagues to deliver the programme.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Customer focussed, with a strong record of relationship building
  • Ability to manage priorities simultaneously and meet demanding timelines in a fast- paced environment
  • An aptitude for working with numbers and large data sets, with experience in MS Excel
  • Qualified/part-qualified accountant
  • Great attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • SAP and/or Finance functional experience
  • A proactive self-starter with a positive growth mindset who enjoys working at pace
  • A can-do, open attitude, demonstrating agility, thought leadership and a desire to deliver results as part of a team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
