Position Title: Investigation Analyst

Job Description:

This role will perform regular data analysis and fraud prevention methods to reduce the threat and loss to ASOS from CWO and customer abuse. This role will report to the Fraud Investigations Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities include, although are not limited to:
  • Perform data analytics, to achieve operational and strategic goals.
  • Analyse CWO and customer abuse data to enhance the fraud prevention tools, using taking guidance from the Fraud Investigations Manager
  • Take guidance from the Fraud Analytics Manager to ensure all KPIs are monitored and escalated effectively.
  • Producing ad-hoc reports to evidence live issues and offer solutions.
  • Perform analysis methods to prevent and detect fraud, responding to emerging trends and attacks through the returns life cycle.
  • Act as a resource to enable the execution of departmental plans to address the reduction of internal, CWO and friendly fraud whilst balancing customer friction
  • Monitor and report on emerging trends and attacks in order to CWO, Returns Fraud, Policy and Internal Fraud.
  • Work independently on fraud analytics, and the analysis of large datasets to ensure appropriate mitigation is implemented to reduce ASOS’ overall ‘Friendly Fraud’ risk.
