Job Description:
Bp’s Innovation & Engineering (I&E) organization is the central organization for all software development. We build all the technology that powers bp’s businesses, from upstream energy production to downstream delivery of energy to our customers. We have a variety of teams depending on your areas of interest, including infrastructure and backend services through to customer-facing web and native applications.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering engineering support, working closely with the Site Engineer to resolve issues in support of the Site Team
- Providing process engineering input to MoCs, projects and modifications, barrier health assessments, risk assessments such as HAZOP and LOPA and inspection deferrals and help manage the LO/LC register
- Providing process and process safety engineering (P&PS) expertise by performing and reviewing complex, or non-routine process engineering calculations and analysis
- Supporting risk management integration and coordination of barrier health
- Identifying facility debottlenecking options to grow production
Requirements:
- Experience preparing, executing and risk assessing operating procedures
- Attention to detail to help ensure consistency of content and format across multiple documents
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidiscipline squad
