Job Description:

Bp’s Innovation & Engineering (I&E) organization is the central organization for all software development. We build all the technology that powers bp’s businesses, from upstream energy production to downstream delivery of energy to our customers. We have a variety of teams depending on your areas of interest, including infrastructure and backend services through to customer-facing web and native applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the customer communications specialist to draft and deliver the customer communications plan
  • Bring fresh thinking on approach and channel utilisation, ensuring that we utilise our existing channels in the most effective and impactful way
  • Play an active role in developing, coordinating and monitoring the digital communications to engage with our customers, including producing newsletters, projects updates, etc working alongside the business engagement team
  • Co-ordinate the stakeholder engagement plan and ensure that it supports delivery of the communication strategic objectives (plan meetings/logistics)
  • Produce high quality, accessible communications materials across multiple channels to reach different audiences, and edit content that has been produced by other colleagues

Requirements:

  • Global Perspective / Cultural Awareness: Applies knowledge of markets, media, regions, and cultural differences at PU level to effectively manage communications; recognizes impact of communications and determines need for localized communication templates
