Position Title: Wholesale Marketing Partner

Job Description


This is a pivotal and high-profile role delivering our marketing plans to our customer segments to deliver the MTP. You will be optimising our marketing budgets and resources to deliver the best possible return on BT’s investment. You will lead and inspire our marketing teams to produce the best work for our customer segments. You will have a critical voice on the Marketing Leadership Team representing their respective customer segment. You will represent the Marketing team to segment stakeholders, and you are the figurehead of your segment to the Marketing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and shapie the segment business unit’s marketing strategy and plans to enable the achievement of the MTP, brand and NPS targets.
  • Own and deliver strategic investment choices that underpin the segment business unit’s marketing strategy, interlocking plans on an annual, quarterly and monthly basis.
  • Lead your marketing team and segment marketing squads: inspire and motivate the teams of marketers to deliver your plans brilliantly.
  • Develop a strong working relationship with the segment P&L MD and Commercial & Props Director, operating as part of their leadership team, attending 1:1s with them as well as weekly LT meetings, trading meetings and other strategic & planning forums.
  • Oversee and own the reporting of your marketing plan performance, communicating these results and key learnings and/or remedial plans to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Showcased expertise or led on a project/specific piece of work outside of the core areas of your expertise
  • Ownership of numbers behind a plan and reporting on performance
  • Allocated and directed a budget for part of the business and lead a cost reduction effort
  • Successfully managed a x-functional, virtual, or real team or part of the business
  • Experience Communicating business strategy to multiple audiences
  • Interlocked targets with a commercial function to set out a marcomms plan
  • Regular interactions with Senior Commercial and Marketing stakeholders
