Position Title: Workplace Experience Director

Job Description:

The Workplace Experience Director-Mail is the primary client contact for the delivery of Host’s mail and shipping/receiving services. The role has the opportunity to drive innovation and operational efficiencies while leading a team of approximately 60+ people to deliver consistent, customer focused service at multiple sites within the Bay Area. The right candidate, with related industry knowledge and expertise, will have experience in managing a large hub/spoke, multi-site team and will have the opportunity to be a part of the leadership team for Host.

This role leads a team and maintains financial accountability and responsibility for the service delivery for a large corporate campus. Leading the team by example, they will ensure compliance with governmental regulations (IATA/DOT) for shipping, Health/Safety/Environmental, safety and training for team members. They must be able to understand and interpret data to staff at optimal levels, while meeting SLA/KPI measurements agreed to with the client and inspiring the team to continually deliver premium service. This role ensures the team is appropriately trained in all aspects of their roles, encouraging personal and professional development for the entire team. A key function of this role is empowering team members to make decisions at the appropriate level and provide opportunities for professional growth and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Establishes overall goals, including savings goals and creates action plans to improve the operation.
  • Provides vision, strategy and implementation guidance for full scope of Host mail services. Manages client relationship.
  • Establish priorities with clients, partners, and employees to resolve conflicts. Set goals and direction, linked to the objectives of the organization, to meet and exceed client expectations.

 

Manage mail operations budget and contain costs.
Manages engagement, development, production, quality and retention of Host mail services team.

Requirements:

  • Ensures quality and regular audits of the Service Business Continuity plan.
  • Delivers strategic plan for utilization of vendor partnerships.
  • Ensures necessary tools and technology are available for mail services teams and clients.
  • Maintains relationships with vendors who provide services and goods.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
