Responsibilities:

  • The CSA will be a part of and work collaboratively in an international team and environment
  • The CSA will co-develop a partner strategy for the United Kingdom (UK) as first priority, and Ireland as secondary, in tandem with your VMware Cloud Services Sales Partners. You will be accountable for quarterly booking targets for selling VMware solutions (perpetual and SaaS) across compute, network, storage, security, datacenter management, and cloud services, along with packaged services, and educational offerings.
  • The CSA seeks to build deep, consultative relationships with their partnerc, effectively becoming a trusted advisor. The CSA trusted advisor is ideally positioned to understand the Partner’s high-level business objectives, and match these to VMware solutions to satisfy the business and technical requirements not only for the customer current state but future state architectures.
  • The CSA is comfortable presenting VMware’s value proposition, technologies, strategy, and product roadmaps to all levels at their customer including executives, technical management, and technical engineers.
  • THE CSA will establish solid working relationships with VMware specialist teams, sales leadership, professional services, Aggregators and Cloud/Hosting Partners.

Requirements:

  • Providing the technical knowledge to help partners understand how VMware can help them meet their business goals. Design, develop and sell solutions built around the VMware portfolio to solve our partners Business goals.
  • Coordination within an internal set of multi-functional teams such as Client Execs, Product Specialists, Inside Reps, Field Marketing, Professional Services, and Channel Management and external partners as described previously.
