Job Description

Hermes has undergone a significant transformation moving from a parcel-centric business to a customer-focused business. There continues to be significant investment into IT realising Hermes’ vision of being a digital business with data being a significant enabler for the Hermes Business Strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing your area on a campus basis, mindful at all times of the area picture to aid local delivery.
  • Ensuring headcounts at your sites are firstly adequate to meet but secondly optimised against volume requirements.
  • Create the necessary processes and for the timely measurement and management of driver and vehicle activity in line with best practice.

Requirements:

  • Ability to route plan and route optimization.
  • Flexibility – Needs to be able to work across a 24 hour operation as necessary
  • Capable of articulating the operational and financial performance to Senior stakeholders both in writing and in person
