Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Make key content, scheduling and marketing recommendations for all channels to maximise audience potential
  • Maintain an intricate understanding of commercial agreements and ensure the scheduling reflects those agreements.
  • Devise and create editorial stunts for channels for both live schedules and for video on demand in order to drive incremental viewing
  • In conjunction with marketing ensure continuity of promos on channels to maximise marketing and comms opportunities
  • Plan and schedule ITV Studios VOD products and FAST Channels, ensuring consistent strength across each product/channel at a territory level be they programme-specific or curated thematic channels
  • Manage content plans in accordance with rights availability and clearance and subsequently user engagement and appetite
  • Deliver a data/audience/platform based scheduling strategy at a global level but delivered locally

 

Requirements:

  • An understanding of data analytics and its uses in driving customer acquisition and retention.
  • Extensive experience of content planning/scheduling/strategy
  • Experience of working across multiple international markets concurrently
  • FAST, AVOD, SVOD or linear broadcast experience, ideally experience across all elements
  • Experience in defining and driving content strategies at a global level.
  • A good understanding of asset management processes, localisation practices, metadata, artwork etc.
  • Editorial skills: a good understanding of content, audiences and viewer habits, and the ability to make key content decisions based on interpreting performance data
