Job Description

ITV Data Strategy is a team of experienced strategists responsible for thought leadership, product ownership, and realising measurable value from data and Ai. Each data product strategist owns and drives all data products developed in partnership with the business. The role reports into the Director of Data Strategy, who is part of the Group Chief Data & Ai Officer’s senior leadership team.
ITV is taking a value-based approach to data and we are looking for a forward thinking, highly skilled individual to help our teams to incorporate a design thinking approach to organisational change and deliver using agile development methods, while maintaining the highest standards for working with data.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Influence key stakeholders through thought leadership in how Data and Ai can create value by going far beyond just delivering more or faster reporting
  • Work in partnership with business leads to explore how data and Ai can solve complex challenges and realise opportunities that drive measurable business benefit
  • Working with our Data Innovation team, be a leading source of new product ideas, driven by a deep knowledge of the business, the data, and the market

Requirements:

  • Implement design thinking approach to data product ideation, proof of value and scale up
  • Lead and motivate a cross-functional team of data analysts, data scientists, data engineers and developers, as well as external partners and platform providers, to progress prototypes and deliver scaled solutions
  • Working alongside our Data Experimentation team, bring new product ideas to life through proof of value experiments, tests and trials
