Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic guidance and oversight to ERGs and their leadership boards, ensuring alignment and integration of ERG plans, budgets, and programming with the overall DIE&B strategy.
  • Manage key ERG components, including leader selection, appointments, onboarding/training, developing ERG performance metrics, facilitating the ERG budgeting process, and tracking ERG spend.
  • Collaborate with ERG leadership, the DIE&B team, executive sponsors, and other stakeholders to develop new opportunities to drive business outcomes and execute strategies for retaining, engaging, and promoting diverse talent.
  • Partner with the communications teams to develop a voice and communication strategy for our ERGs and create guidelines and templates.
  • Serve as the central DIE&B leader of the Candid Conversations program.
  • Serve as a champion, strategic partner, and thought leader of DIE&B by staying informed of best practices and benchmarks and developing relevant approaches that align with the organization.
  • Work on other projects that drive PayPal’s DIE&B strategy and goals forward.

Requirements:

  • Possesses 5-7 years of experience successfully leading employee networks or communities or leading a business function with a focus on inclusion.
  • Demonstrates awareness and understanding of multiple facets of diversity with a focus on intersectionality: cultural, ethnic, racial, religious, gender, age, sexual orientation, linguistic, and other differences that make us unique
  • Has the ability to draw energy and support from a broad array of distinct stakeholders to get things done, create leverage and mobilize internal advocates
  • Collaborates with others and is able to lead in an ambiguous and fast-changing environment
  • Has excellent project management and organization skills, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Possesses strong verbal and written communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Can work strategically with cross-functional teams to drive overall solutions while appropriately managing issues and risks and large-scale change management.
