Responsibilities:

  • Business Unit Engagement Budget: Maintain the engagement budget for all sites associate to this business unit
  • Monthly check in meetings with all council members
  • Measure Employee Engagement Success: Develop feedback mechanisms to ensure employees at your site are engaged; share engagement reports with stakeholders at your site to encourage participation; leverage data and analysis to track progress against goals, make results-based decisions and raise flags; collect and share stories of impact and visuals to celebrate your site’s engagement wins
  • Field Employee and Community Partners Queries: Serve as a point of contact for employees and members of the external community at your site; liaise with your site council and global functions on queries when needed
  • Reactive preparedness for any site impacts or events
  • Manage Site Council: Work with local cross-functional partners, including site leadership, facilities, security and HRBPs to ensure a safe, engaging, and enriched employee environment.
  • Gather local volunteers and teams to help drive engagement
  • Site Communications: Promote global, regional, and local campaigns via appropriate communication channels (site newsletters, standup meetings, bulletin boards, posters, digital signage, etc.)
  • Lead Site Engagement Strategy: Create an enriched and engaging program for all warehouse and business employees at the site to connect with one another, connect to our values and to connect to areas of interest.

Requirements:

  • CANDIDATES WILL BE REQUIRED TO BE ONSITE AND POTENTIALLY COMMUTE BETWEEN THE VALENCIA AND LA LOCATION
  • Strong background in working for a company with warehouse employees – understanding their needs, how to communicate and how to engage hourly employees
  • A demonstrated passion for employee engagement
  • Strong project management skills with attentiveness to detail and consistent follow through
  • Team player with the ability to work collaboratively and comfortably with employees who have diverse skills and experience and are in different geographies and levels within the organization
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work confidently and thrive in a rapidly changing, fast-paced and results-oriented environment where a high degree of flexibility is required
  • Comfort with leading, coaching and liaising with employees at all levels
  • Ability to prioritize engagement opportunities and requests
