Position Title: Junior Graphic Designer

Job Description:

As one of the brand guardians for SSE plc, the Junior Graphic Designer plays a key role in supporting the Senior Designer and Graphic Designers in creating on brand marketing materials for colleagues across the organisation. They will be passionate about delivering excellent creative artwork and assets, ensuring that all materials adhere to brand guidelines. With experience in digital and print media, they will bring data, text, photos and graphics together to make high quality products that can be delivered in a range of formats which enhance existing or new external and internal communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for updating brand assets (including imagery) on a digital asset management system.
  • Working closely with the Senior Graphic Designer, Graphic Designers and Brand Manager to deliver a first class design service to SSE and its business units.
  • Brand ambassador and guardian – ensure any projects receive high quality assets that meet the SSE Brand Guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Support the delivery of brand identity design projects, including the refresh of corporate assets (livery, signage, uniforms etc.) through to development of branded templates.
  • Collaborate with other team members to evaluate design concepts and share knowledge and experience in order to push boundaries of service offering.
  • Develop artwork to support internal engagement and external brand advertising campaigns
