Position Title: Tanzu Labs Senior Sales Executive UK&I

Job Description

As a Tanzu Labs Sales Executive, you will be responsible for consulting with our UK&I Enterprise Accounts, learning about their challenges and proposing solutions that will help them achieve the outcomes that deliver value to their organisation. Based in the UK&I, you are comfortable working in a matrix environment as a product specialist with ongoing interactions within an extended VMware account team. You have experience in achieving sales targets in the software world, building a portfolio of opportunities, and closing deals, working with partners to drive pipeline. The strategic dimension of VMware Tanzu offerings requires prior experience engaging with high level decision makers (CxO level) and partners engaged in the sales cycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement a penetration and growth strategy for VMware Tanzu Labs Services offerings within the overall UK&I Enterprise Accounts segment
  • Work with VMware Core Business teams on an ongoing basis to ensure that this plan is aligned with the overall commercial strategy and has the support of the entire account team and management
  • Understand and execute Tanzu Labs Services Sales Plays to accelerate the deployment of our footprint in the market in a programmatic approach
  • Partner and collaborate with Tanzu Product Sales teams to generate opportunities that ensure that sales are consistently coupled to Tanzu product consumption
  • Update the Forecast and Pipeline Management tools (SFDC) on a weekly basis according to VMware standards.
