Position Title: Head of Archetype Operations and Engineering

Job Description:

The role holder has end to end accountability and responsibility for all aspects of Operating Company (OpCo) specific IT Infrastructure & Operations, task managing agile squads that can deliver and maintain OpCo IT Infrastructure services and solutions to our businesses in a timely manner. In addition, you will work to transform and rationalize our infrastructure, identifying where current local and OpCo services can be migrated into common Enterprise services, whilst maintaining understanding of requirements and demand that need to be kept close to our OpCos.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to immediate business demands for stand up of IT Infrastructure solutions via agile
• Archetype squads, utilizing other GTS wide resources where required.
• Work with GTS LT and colleagues across GTS Functions to maintain and develop OpCo specific services (e.g., Cloud Hub, Distributed, Connectivity Teams)
• Responsible for running requested services related to such solutions or activation into GTS
• Enterprise services as appropriate.
• Identify opportunities for consolidation of common IT Infrastructure Services in OpCos and migration of such services and resources to the other GTS Functions for ongoing enterprise management (e.g., into Cloud, Distributed & Connectivity Teams)

Requirements:

• Ability to manage people in a matrix orientated environment with onshore, offshore and multiple 3rd party delivery environment.
• Demonstrable decision making, problem-solving, lateral thinking and analytical skills
• Experience of Mergers and Acquisitions leading IT Infrastructure integrations.
• Good relationship building, collaboration and influencing skills in a matrix organization with ability to operate at CxO level and with senior IT & non-IT stakeholders.
• IT Transformation & Change Management experience.
