Job Description:

Reporting to the Head of Op erations Assurance at GroupM, the Risk & Compliance Manager is responsible for embedding a culture of technology risk management and IT controls awareness and adoption, ensuring that IT support, operational and project activities are performed in line with WPP’s Data Privacy & Security Charter and IT Control Framework.

Responsibilities:

• Positively impact business performance by providing timely and relevant guidance covering existing and emerging area of security and technology risk.
• Be a single point of contact for technology risk management questions, advice and support.
• Be proactive in engaging with key stakeholders to ensure information security and technology controls considerations are baked into IT and business initiatives.
• Deliver technology risk management awareness and education activities to ensure a clear understanding of WPP IT control requirements.
• Be an evangelist for the adoption of robust technology risk management and controls compliance.

Requirements:

• Assist on making decisions based upon evidence and data spanning multiple sources and varieties.
• Robust experience with internal and external audit best practices
• Maintains the cadence of delivery through proactive engagement with stakeholders
• Industry recognised certifications in technology risk management eg CISA, CRISC, CISM
• Experience in delivery technology assurance activities.
• SOX compliance experience
• Hands on technology risk management or technology assurance experience.
• Technical and service awareness.
